Part-Time EYFS Manager (20 hours)Im working on behalf of a small Steiner School in Hornsey, looking for an experienced and inspirational teacher to take on the responsibility of leading and coordinating our Steiner/Waldorf Early Years centre. The manager will work closely with the school administrator who is the other member of the leadership and management team.The central role of this position will be to ensure that the schools values and standards are embedded and result in consistently high quality practice. The position holder will work with the team of administrator, teachers, assistants and volunteers. Early Years/Key Stage 1 teaching experience and openness to alternative educational approaches is essential. Leadership and management experience in an education setting is desirable.Candidate Must Have:QTS and experience teaching EYFS/KS1Experience in a Leadership roleOpenness to learning the Steiner/Waldorf way of EducationAvailable minimum 3 mornings per week The post holder will develop close links with the schools Trustees, the other members of the schools Leadership Team, the Administrator, the School Bursar, assistants, teachers and parents.This is a small, registered independent school, consisting of a mixed-age kindergarten of 24 children and a number of parent and child groups. They provide experiential, play-based education for children from 3 to 6 years old, based on the ideas of Rudolf Steiner.
