Job Role: Sen Teaching Assistant- Primary SchoolLocation: GreenfordStart Date: AsapSalary: starting from £21,000Are you a experienced Sen Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, looking for a new opportunityReed Education, is working alongside a great Mainstream Primary School based in Greenford, on a full time basis.The School: Happy diverse Primary School based in the Heart of West London Great transport links- easy commute and access to underground/overground/bus station and onsite parking. Ofsted 2022- Good schoolThe Role: 1:1 Supporting a young child in reception who has severe ADHD with multi complex behaviour challenges- difficulty expressing feelings Sitting alongside child in classroom, helping them to remain engaged and comfortable Communicating childs progress to class teacher and parents Using creativeness inside and outside classroom to promote childs development- sensory therapy/art therapy Temp to perm contract- After 12 weeks probation period permanent contract to be offeredWhat you will need: Willingness to learn childs routine and become an influential, long term behaviour mentor in childs learning and development. Experience working with child with severe ADHD/multi complex behaviour challenges: can demonstrate experience on a trial day style interview Enhanced DBS on the update service- or happy to apply for one via Reed. This role is for someone who is committed to being in this role on a permanent basis- 5 days a week and can understand the importance of how not having a routine can effect or disrupt the childs learning and development. Can remain active, patient, and resilient due to child having impulsivity to run, climb, throw, and kick if mind is not stimulated.
