Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Production Operative to join a fantastic team in Kingswood area of Bristol. In this role you will be responsible for operating various machines and equipment to produce high end products. This is a permanent role.Finish early every Friday!Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up machines to start a production cycle.
  • machine maintenance: monitor and adjust machine settings as needed.
  • inspection and testing : using precision tools and measuring equipment to inspect parts, test machine operations periodically, and identify and resolve any machine-related errors or flaws.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of approved units, defective products, and final outputs.
  • Activity Logs: Keep detailed activity logs to track production progress and ensure efficient operations.
Job Skills & Requirements
  • Previous experience as a machine operator would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in operating diverse high-speed machinery and using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with production assembly procedures and processes.
  • Strong adherence to health and safety regulations, including the consistent use of protective gear.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
