  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to Year 1 pupils.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans accommodating various abilities and learning styles.
  • Employ effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Utilize assessment tools to monitor and report on student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s vision.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
  • Engage with the wider school community to support holistic pupil development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviors within a classroom setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning, and behavior strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the primary education curriculum, including phonics and child development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school’s ethos.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
