Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to Year 1 pupils.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans accommodating various abilities and learning styles.
Employ effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
Utilize assessment tools to monitor and report on student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s vision.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
Engage with the wider school community to support holistic pupil development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in managing challenging behaviors within a classroom setting.
Up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning, and behavior strategies.
Strong understanding of the primary education curriculum, including phonics and child development.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school’s ethos.
Commitment to professional growth and development.
Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
