Job Description

HR Manager -Hampton, Middlesex(free parking) - £competitive - including excellent benefits - Salary dependent on experience. This is a full time role, based on site.Leading Independent day school, set in beautiful grounds requires an experienced HR Manager to lead, develop and manage the Schools HR Function. As HR Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the school meets all its regulatory, legislative andstatutory requirements, as well guiding your team, to provide a high quality service to managers and staff.Alongside your team of HR Coordinators, compliance officers and payroll , as HR Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • HR advice and support
  • Recruitment and selection
  • HR Systems, maintaining and acting as database manager
  • Employee relations
  • Professional Development
  • Payroll
  • Administration & safeguarding
To fulfil the role of HR Manager you must be/have:
  • CIPD Qualified with good knowledge of current UK employment legislation
  • Experience of working within education a distinct advantage
  • Proven experience of developing, implementing and evaluating policies and procedures
  • Extensive HR operational and strategic experience
    • Including successfully managing and implementing HR projects and change management initiatives
  • Experience of managing and developing a team
  • Highly organised, strong IT skills
