Job Description

• Assist with preparation of annual budget (agreed with CEO)• Assist with preparation of annual report and accounts (to be presented by CEO)• All accounts functions including sales & purchase ledgers, invoicing and credit control• Company annual report and accounts for submission to Companies House and AGM• Maintenance of Companies House records• Expenses and payroll processes• Responsible for individual pension plans• Medical insurances• Balance sheet reconciliation• Liaising with external auditors and maintain strong professional relationships• Quarterly VAT returns• Month-end accounting, including posting weekly trading to P&L and balance sheet.• Accruals, prepayment journals and management accounting• Reporting business turnover to CEO• Contributing to the maintenance of a strong control environment and ensuring a full audit trail is recorded and maintained at all times• Escalating potential risks in a timely manner.• Preparing yearly Statutory accounts and Tax calculation, respecting deadlines• Fixed assets accounting, reconciliations and depreciation journals• Making recommendations directly to the Chief Executive OfficerRequired skills
