A luxury travel company is seeking a Systems Administrator to assist the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager, provide second/third line IT support as well help build and maintain the network infrastructure across the group (circa 120 users).ResponsibilitiesThe roles primary responsibility will be to provide second/third line of IT support to the companys users over phone, tickets and in person, and assist in the installation, configuration, management and support of all software and hardware systems. Therole is hands-on and diverse, and it often involves project work to introduce new features and new technology platforms.Some of the technology involved will be: Firewalls, VPNs, Windows Servers, GPO, Active Directory and Azure AD, Remote Desktop Services, Office 365, SharePoint, Mitel VOIP Telephony, ESET Antivirus, Azure Cloud, Mimecast and Service Desk tools.DutiesTo operate a help desk to deal with day-to-day IT problems by managing the IT Helpdesk system and respond to all issues within expected timeframesTo assist in the installation, configuration, management and support of all software and hardware systems, including workstations, software applications and operating systems following training, all ancillary hardware, all telephone and communication systems(including email) and all cabling (including power, data and phone)To assist with the support and improvement of the network infrastructureTo assist with the operation of the Azure Cloud environment.To assist the Infrastructure and Security Manager with IT Upgrade ProjectsTo support and help the internal users on a daily basis and communicate all IT related issues as requiredTo be flexible with daily working hours to support international offices and occasional out of hours project work.
