Job Description

My client are Specialists in Probate & Administration. Due to their continual growth, they are looking to recruit a Legal Assistant who will support the Charitable Will Team based in Hammersmith, London. The small team provides free legal services to variouscharities that support those with terminal medical conditions.This is an exciting opportunity which offers a structured training plan over three years, initially working closely alongside their Legal Specialist, before being fully supported and subsidised in additional learning to become a fully qualified Legal Advisor.You must be able to demonstrate the desire to have a long-term, rewarding career in law and the ability to study for, and pass exams.Initial Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the specialists calendar.
  • Liaising with clients to schedule and collect the required details for the specialists
  • Liaising with their specialist to ensure that they have the necessary paperwork and nformation for the said appointments.
  • Maintaining a database that keeps track of client progress.
  • Preparing and posting paperwork to clients and other offices.
Training will be provided; no previous legal experience is required. In order to succeed in this role, you must be organised and self-motivated with strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail. You need to be able to communicate effectivelyover a variety of mediums, whilst maintaining the highest level of standards.In return, you will be given a salary of between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (dependent onExperience), generous holiday allowance, pension contributions, and invitations to company events.Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.Purple Panda Recruitment Ltd (Company Number 11505752) Is a UK based Recruitment Agency.
