Job Description

Reed Finance have been engaged by a SaaS business located in London. Backed by an institutional investor and VC house they are seeking to add a stand along Finance Director to their team on a permanent basis.Our client has established their product and are making major inroads in to their target market, with significant ambitions of having a 30% market share by the end of 2022.As Finance Director you shall be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the runing of finance day-to-day within a heavily automated environment
  • Taking a lead role in driving the improvement in the financial & operation processes
  • SaaS MetricsTracking and identifying key KPI, Management Information and OKRs
  • Ensuring a data analytics approach to increase value to business
  • Working with the CEO to build strong financial models, for future funding rounds and investment activities
  • Ownership of statutory reporting obligations and managing processes with external advisors
  • Overseeing tax, R&D credits, EMI options and corporate governance
  • Taking a key role in identifying risks and opportunities within the market
  • Managing processes surrounding prospective acquisition targets
The ideal candidate for this role shall be:
  • An ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with experience of working within a SaaS (Software as a Service) business
  • Experience of working in a hyper growth start-up environment
  • Excellent communicator verbally and written, and comfortable presenting to a board
  • Preferably have experience of funding rounds Series A-B
  • Comfortable working within a stand-alone role with a can-do attitude
The successful candidate shall be reward with a base salary of Circa £80,000 to £90,000, entry into an EMI Scheme and potential to earn up to 100% Bonus.
