1. Job PurposeTo ensure an efficient operation of the Warehousing and Distribution service in terms oforganisation, management, physical logistics, processes and stock. To train the team tomaximise productivity and ensure a first class HSE performance is achieved2. Job DimensionsWarehouse Goods Out Team Leader - reports to Operations ManagerDirect reports - all Warehouse OperativesRequired to work closely with all colleagues3. Principle AccountabilitiesTo satisfy in a timely manner, sales order requirements through to despatch,inclusive of loading, including dealing with Order MattersUtilisation of warehouse management software for stock managementLiaison with the Shipping team in terms of couriers and monitor for dailyrequirementsEnsure all work instructions are adhered toEnsure continuous improvement activities, identifying areas of non-value addedEnsure all warehouse equipment is maintained to the highest manufacturers orsuppliers standards, including all daily / weekly checksKey performance indicator reporting2To co-ordinate all working hours in terms of normal working, short time, additionalhours, overtime hours, temporary labour and other eventualities as may be requiredensuring full availability for all warehouse requirementsTo ensure inventory control and stock management is maintained includingconducting regular stock audits and location availabilityMaximise productivity and minimise damage and wasteTo manage employee relations in terms of staff rotas, performance, welfare,communication, involvement, probation, induction, performance reviews anddispute resolution in conjunction with the Human Resources teamHealth, safety and environmental supervisionTo develop employees within all areas of responsibility in line with objectivesUnloading of deliveries requiring powered vehicle supportLoading of collections requiring powered vehicle supportCo-ordinate all warehouse trainingEnsure all despatches are accurate, adhering to quality standardsDespatch all A & B grade orders - from Goods In teamMaintain excellent housekeeping across all areasEnsure Ebay fulfilment orders are despatched correctlyEnsure on time and in full for all ordersAll batch documentation to be accurate for end of day / next day processingTRAINING REQUIREMENTWarehouse management softwareWorking hours spreadsheetHR updatesWarehouse on line courseTeam leader on line course4. Performance RequirementsIn line with agreed, targeted KPIs and time specific projects, periodically reviewed.5.
