This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading, global manufacturer of construction chemicals.Due to expansion in their waterproofing portfolio, they are looking for a new team member to join their advisory team.The main purpose of the role will be to conduct all technical services activities including supporting sales staff, customer assistance, product application testing, sample production, preparation of materials and carrying out of various training courses; Product claim management and the development of technical specifications for projects in accordance with NBS requirements.While the expert skills set required is fundamentally structural waterproofing, the opportunity for the individual to expand knowledge in other construction lines is vast.Essential requirements are:-* 5 years minimum recent structural waterproofing knowledge and industry experience.* ABBE/PCA Level 3 Certificate, Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing.* The ability to produce written reports.* Commercial awareness within the below ground structural waterproofing industry.* Minimum 5 GCSEs to grade C or equivalent.* Proven understanding of application methods and practical abilities and BS8102:2009.Desirable requirements are:-* Knowledge of application testing, technical services environment and associated standards.* Experience and understanding in the application and specifying of Polyurea systems.* CAD experience/training.Hours of work: the business operates its working hours between 07:00 and 19:00. Therefore, flexibility will be required to be able to work between these hours - Monday to Friday with a 1 hour break. Working hours are 37.5 per week (either 07:00 - 15:30, 08:30 - 17:00 or 10:30 - 19:00).Travelling is essential, as visits to construction sites throughout the UK and Ireland will be necessary as well as occasional visits to their European Head Office.Remuneration package is dependent on experience with the addition of a company car, pension, laptop, phone.As this exciting opportunity is available now, please apply immediately.
