Job Description

About the roleAs a Senior Engineer based at our Halesowen site, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, calibration and breakdown support of the company’s large diameter fleet of pipe jointing machines. Where required, you shall also service, maintain and calibrate both MCA - Fusion and customer equipment to standards set by the company.Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing of both Hire and customer owned equipment, including at other branch locations if necessary
  • Provide Technical support internally and externally, including at other branch locations if necessary
  • Attend onsite breakdowns
  • Training both internally and externally
  • Accurate timekeeping
  • Completion of all records in accordance with company policies, systems and procedures
  • Comply with Health and Safety policy and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
    • About you
  • Working alongside other branch and site support engineers, you will be required to work from other locations and attend site to support equipment breakdowns. There will be occasions where you will be required to stay away overnight to conduct training and breakdown activities.
  • Experience in hands on engineering roles is essential for this role as you’ll be dealing with a multitude of equipment.
  • Completed or working towards a formal Engineering qualification to HNC or above in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • A full UK driving licence is required for this role as you’ll occasionally be visiting customers sites to service breakdowns.
