We are looking to recruit a Quality Manager/Health & Safety Manager on a part timebasisto work for a steel company based in Halesowen. The role has come about due to a forthcoming retirement.The main duties will be :ISO Certificates and managementAudit scheduleMonitoring complaintsMonitoring Non ConformitiesCrediting CustomersComplaints and credits with SuppliersReview of ProceduresCalibration of equipment of micrometre of subcontract calibrationManagement of chemicals , Coshh records and ReachOrganising Management Review meetings with BSI and internallyImplementing BSI audits of ISO9001 and 14001Environmental InformationLiaise on environmental waste removalMaintaining records of pH levels in neutralisation plantWaste Management approval and liaisonWaste Transfer NotesThe successful candidate will have the following skills:Experience of Quality Management systems, notably ISO9001. Auditor Training experience. Understanding of 14001 would be a bonus.A recognised H&S training certificate eg NEBOSH and experience.Experience in metallurgy would be an advantageousTraining and record keepingHighly organised and good attention to detailThis company will provide a full and thorough handover and the opportunity to join a company with a very low staff turnover.
