We are recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to work for a Manufacturing company based in Halesowen, the role will be a Fixed Term contract - 6 months.The objective of the role will be to provide Administrative support for supplier RFI/RFQ preparation, distribution, collation andThe main duties will be:" Collation of external and internal data whether by email or phone" Communication of requests for data from external vendors/internal stakeholders, both written and verbal" Follow up communication to effectively expedite needed vendor data" Data accuracy validation and ongoing maintenance" Data query resolution" Data input/population and ongoing maintenance as needed" Higher level excel proficiency for data input covering excel calcs, sort, formula creation, query tables." Administrative support for supplier RFI/RFQ preparation, distribution, collation and award" Administrative support for new supplier creation, data input etc" General administrative duties as neededThe successful candidate will have the following skills:" Effective and confident communicator, both written and verbal, specifically with external suppliers" Numerically proficient including also literal (composing emails, questionnaires etc.)" Meticulous with an attention to detail" Microsoft office, specifically advanced excel (Vlookup etc) would be an advantage but not essentialIn return the company will provide full support and training and the opportunity to join a company who is growing at a very fast rate.
