Job Description

Digital Learning DesignerThe Best Connection are looking for an experienced digital specialist with strong design, animation and video skills (Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Articulate, Powtoon) to join our People Services Team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. You will have a demonstrable portfolio of eLearning and video projects to support your application.We are looking to embrace technology and upgrade our current blended learning approach to deliver best in class digital learning.The Best Connection specialise in providing flexible workforce solutions to companies within the Industrial, warehouse, distribution, logistics, retail, food and healthcare sectors.We pride ourselves in being a trusted industry specialist with over 27 years’ experience and a passion for developing our people.Package

  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (pro rata) dependent on skills and experience
  • Flexibility can offered for this role, we would consider offering the role on a part time basis, (minimum of 24 hours per week) we could also offer a shorter term contract for the successful candidate
  • Holidays: Initially you will be entitled to 30 days paid holiday per annum (pro rata) inclusive of statutory holidays
    • Key Attributes - Essential
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing and evaluating E-learning programmes
  • Experience of documenting storyboarding and scripting eLearning
  • Planning and organising with the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that eLearning effectively communicates key messages, processes and technical instruction
  • Provide training to the existing Training Team so that they can develop their own eLearning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and methodical
  • Expert knowledge of Articulate and Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro)
  • Experience of filming and editing creative video content including the use of green screens, lighting and sound
    • Key Attributes - Desirable
  • Transfer SCORM compliant eLearning material onto the Learning Management System (Kallidus)
  • Knowledge of working with a Learning Management System and successfully deploying eLearning.
  • Knowledge of Kallidus LMS
