I am currently working with a Stourbridge based practise on the recruitment of an Accountant for a 12 month Maternity Cover (Fixed Term Contract). This role will sit within a small finance team, working with clients across the business. Main Duties include: - Prepare VAT returns and management accounts for clients on a quarterly basis. - Assist with the preparation of year end accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders. - Assist with tax compliance work for companies, partnerships and sole traders. - Assist with preparation of monthly payrolls for owner managed businesses. - Assist the Partner/Director for client presentation of key financial information. - Assist with ad-hoc assignments occasionally required by the team. This role is office based, however there is some flexibility with this on an adhoc basis. The role is paying circa £30,000 and you will ideally be available to start immediately, however, the client is willing to wait a short time for the right candidate.
