Location: Hadlow College, Hadlow, KentHours: 37 hours per week including weekend work and bank holidays as requiredWe are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual to be responsible for the day-to-day care of the sheep at Hadlow College and work closely with both farm and curriculum staff to support practical tasks enabling students to work alongside the farm.The successful candidate must have experience working within a sheep unit and have a willingness to share experiences as well as an ability to engage with students, working to help deliver learning.You will be expected to host practical demonstrations and workshops and an appreciation for the enterprise is essential as the role will require you to work closely with Curriculum to develop and improve the College flock and enhance student experience.As well as being a genuine team worker and ideally with teaching/instructing experience, candidates will need to show proof of a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and maths and a relevant Level 3 practical qualification. Due to the nature of the role,candidates must hold a Full clean UK driving license so that college vehicles can be driven when required. Some experience operating a range of machinery is required but training will be available.You will be required to work weekends by rota and commitment during busy periods is a must!In return, you will receive 33 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus bank holidays (pro rata) and access to the Teachers Pension Scheme.
