This small cluster of schools is seeking an experienced Finance & Payroll Officer to support their close-knit, professional central team, with emphasis on supporting the roll out of the new PS Financials system.Reporting to the Head of Finance, this diverse role will involve the production of monthly management reports, budget analysis, VAT returns, administration of Parentpay and to deputise for the Finance Manager and Payroll Officer when required, ensuring the payroll process for 450 staff is accurate and on time.The ideal candidate will have a good solid grounding in finance and payroll provision within a school setting coupled with substantial experience in producing monthly reports including trial balance. Experience of PS Financials and payroll software such as Civica or Carval is highly desirable.You will possess excellent written and verbal skills, be proactive coupled with effective time management skills.In return, you will be working for a collaborative Trust, which places the wellness of its staff as a high priority, through strong CPD programs.Hours of work are 37.5 per week.This is an initial temporary post that has good prospects of becoming permanent.Dedicate Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent staff and as an employment business for temporary workers.
