Homerton Hospital was rated Outstanding by the CQC earlier this year. Located in East End of London we are close to the heart of the capital and our local population is relatively young and culturally diverse. Homerton University Hospital was the designated Hospital for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Park. The Hospital has easy access to the M11 and Stratford International railway station.The Trust wishes to appoint a Consultant to its experienced Respiratory team which currently comprises Dr Angshu Bhowmik (lung cancer and COPD), Prof Raj K Rajakulasingam (Asthma and clinical lead), Dr Santino Capocci (TB), Dr Joshua Agbetile (Sleep and ventilation), Dr Raluca Macavei (Sleep and ventilation and general).The post-holder will jointly lead on the management, patient compliance and quality of patient care at the Homerton University Hospital for patients with respiratory and general medical problems and ensure the service is compliant with the national standards. As a senior employee of the Trust you will be expected to provide specialist expertise in respiratory problems and help to improve quality of service provided through;
