Hours per week:0.2WTE (2 sessions per week)NHS WALES HEALTH COLLABORATIVE NATIONAL CLINICAL LEAD for STROKEWant to be part of an exciting, wide-ranging programme, improving Stroke services across WalesEngage in quality improvement across several organisationsEnhance your management and leadership skills at the same timeThe Stroke Implementation Group is looking to appoint National Clinical Lead to advise and drive sustainable improvement in all areas of stroke services in Wales.The programme sits under the NHS Wales Health Collaborative and is tasked with ensuring that the actions identified in the Stroke Delivery Plan 2017-2020 are achieved and that Health Boards are supported to deliver their local stroke plans. The group brings together key stakeholders in a co-productive approach: patients, Welsh Government, Health Boards, informatics, research, third sector, education and social services with the primary focus on developing and implementing services that provide a robust and innovative stroke pathway to deliver a step-change in stroke service planning.Work focuses on the following areas:

Living well

Stroke prevention

Early recognition of Stoke and TIAs

Fast, effective treatment and care

Rehabilitation, recovery and life after Stroke

End of life care

Applications are invited from clinicians/nurses/AHP’s of relevant experience to provide national leadership rather than organisational representation.
