Night Support Worker ReferencePRI37059LocationChildrens Home Gunnislake hall, Cornwall, PL18Devon Childrens Services specialises in high quality residential and educational provisions for children between 7-19 who may have EMSH and /or Autism. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our young people who may have experienced challenges in their lives is always paramount; along with encouragement to achieve their full potential.Devon Childrens Services currently have two educational settings, Quay View School and Tor View School, and four Childrens Homes across Devon.Devon Childrens Services are looking for Night Support Workers to join their team at our Childrens Home, Gunnislake. We are looking for enthusiasticstaff to join the team in this new home.As a Night Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families and other stakeholders, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in teaching them life skills. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital.You will be available to work shift patters which include days, evenings and weekends. We are offering both part-time and full-time contracts so salary will vary dependent on your contractual hours.You may be required to work at one of our other homes and so own transport is desired.
