Job Description

Senior Auditor – Grimsby - £50,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)Chase & Holland are working with this forward thinking, market leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Grimsby to recruitment a driven Senior Auditor. Reporting into the Senior Manager for Internal Audit for this international business, this role will offer you great exposure and growth and will see you take on a key position within the internal audit department.In return:

Responsibilities will include:
  • Providing support to the Internal Audit department, assisting the Senior Manager for Internal Audit and the Vice-President of Internal Audit in carrying out the strategy and long-term vision of the department
  • Participating and executing a variety of financial, operational and compliance audits
  • Executing the internal control testing (SOX). This includes interviews and meetings with the process and control owners as well as a variety of management colleagues
  • Presenting the audit/internal control findings
  • Participating in the planning meetings with internal management and external audit firm to identify areas of concern and emerging trends
  • Performing other duties on an ad-hoc basis
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Qualified Accountant, either ACA or ACCA
  • Experience of auditing either through Practice or Industry
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Have knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with a variety of stakeholders
