Job Description

Do you have a background in sea, air, or road freight Would you like to be supported in a certificate in advanced customs compliance We have an opportunity for an Import Administrator to join a UK-based, independent freight forwarding and logistics organisationwho provide international air, sea, and road transport services. Benefits will include an annual bonus, free parking, and the opportunity to complete a customs qualification.This is a full-time permanent role based in Grimsby, working MondayFriday 9am-5pm on a salary of up to £25,000 for the right person.Reporting to the MD, you will be part of a Logistics Operations Team of 7, you will work closely with clients to develop and optimise their supply chain solutions, both over the phone and via email. Full training will be provided.I am keen to speak with candidates with a background in UK customs clearance, sea, air, or road freight (UK/EU) from an administrative role. You must have the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to support the clients rapidly expanding customerbase. This role involves a constant flow of deadlines and a fluctuating work schedule, so the ability to multitask is important to succeed.
