Job Description

Full Load Export Operations – Grimsby – To £25,000Chase and Holland are delighted to be assisting a large logistics business who are looking to expand its team with a dynamicExport Operator.This is an opportunity to secure a position with a highly successful business that has continued tocelebrate success and build a powerful reputation in its industry.If you are looking to start a career in Shipping and Logistics, then this could be the perfect role for you.Package & Benefits:

Full Load Export Operator responsibilities:
  • Export operations and Exports Administration
  • Customer Services - Take bookings and create in our internal software
  • Issue sales invoicing to customers according to agreements and check and pass purchase invoices
  • Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines
  • All aspects of full load export operations including on-call rota
  • Completing Export Customs Clearances and Transit Documentation – using Descartes/Destin8
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 2-3 Years’ Experience in a similar role essential
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
  • Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
  • A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
  • IT literate
  • A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
