Job Description

Customs Clearance ClerkImminghamChase and Holland are delighted to be assisting a large logistics business who are looking to expand its team with a dynamicCustoms Clearance Clerk.This is an opportunity to secure a position with a highly successful business that has continued to celebrate success and build a powerful reputation in its industry.Export Customs Clearance Clerk Responsibilities include:

  • Import Customs Clearances
  • Export Customs Clearances
  • Complete day to day custom clearance and entries
  • Administration duties
  • Customer service
  • Transit system inputT-Forms
  • Daily use of software such as Destin8, Chief, NCTS, CNS and Descartes
Hours:Full TimeRequired Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience of working within either a freight forwarding or shipping business
  • 3-5 years experience in either Imports or Exports
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience of all matters Customs related
  • Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
  • Good decision-making skills, able to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
  • A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work as part of a team
  • IT literate
