Badenoch + Clark have been exclusively engaged to source two permanent Building Safety Officers for their Client, a Social Housing provider in the East Lincolnshire area. Working within the Compliance Team, the purpose of these roles are to provide a full audit and review of current assets in relation to compliance against the 6 areas - Asbestos, Fire, Legionella, Lift Operations (LOLER), Gas + Electrical Safety. These records will be accurate, maintained and consistently updated and required works will be undertaken to bring elements to a compliant level will be completed working alongside external contractors and internal teams. The post holder will be responsible for reporting and providing advice and guidance in relation to compliance using previous relevant experience. To be successful in this post you must:*Have experience with compliance within Social Housing (this could be focussed on one or more of the 6 areas mentioned above)*Be committed to personal development and willing to commence further training whilst in post *Be confident in providing advice and guidance in relation to compliance*Have excellent communication and IT skills*Be a driver with access to own vehicle for workThe ideal candidate will also:*Hold a recognised fire safety qualification such as Fire Risk Assessor status*Have undertaken a BOSH accredited course in relation to Asbestos*Be qualified in LOLER*Be a member of a professional body related to compliance For more information and to discuss your experience, contact Mariella Cardy on .
