Job Description

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant for our local service Gretton House. Consensus Support Services is an award-winning, family owned healthcare organisation, specialising in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in supported living and residential settings.Position:Kitchen AssistantSalary (£):8.91 – 8.95**Salary effective from 1st April 2021, starting rate £8.75 if joining before 1st April 2021Location: Gretton, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 3DEAbout the Role:

This service is supporting up to 20 male/female Individuals living in a residential setting.

Supporting the chef’s and other catering staff to manage and deliver all catering services at the service

Preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard

Preparing special diet meals as needed

Supporting cost effective stock control to minimise waste

Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, emptying the waste bins and helping wash the crockery and cutlery
