As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, youwill play a crucial role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.SEMH Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Implementing tailored interventions to support the specific needs of students with SEMH challenges.
  • Collaborating closely with the teaching team to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of individualized strategies to address SEMH needs.
  • Providing one-on-one support and small group assistance during classroom activities.
  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students with SEMH challenges.
SEMH Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Ability to adapt and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH challenges.
