Job Description

Role:Quantity SurveyorLocation:East LondonDuration:6-12 months plus (3 year project)Rate:£350-420 per Via Umbrella Company PAYE (No CIS)Contract:Inside IR35My client a Tier one supplier, is in the market for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to come on board and help manage/oversee subcontracts on a major infrastructure project in East London.Quantity SurveyorsResponsibilities:

  • The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the effective procurement of subcontract packages.
Quantity SurveyorRequirements:
  • Previously worked in a Quantity Surveyor role/position on large infrastructure projects
  • Knowledgeable in overseeing/managing Subcontracts (Must!)
  • Comfortable and confident in the procurement of subcontracts up to £5 million
  • Have a good understanding of subcontract and/or supplier terms and conditions
  • The Quantity Surveyor must have previous experience in NEC 3 contracts and be confident in setting them up.
  • Experienced in identifying risk amongst the Supply chain and implementing risk management procedures.
  • Good at negotiations and closing out agreements.
