Job Description

The BusinessHybrid Working - Flexible Hours - Established business - Team nights out - Growing business with progression opportunitiesAre you an accountant, part or fully qualified, seeking your next challengeNigel Wright are delighted to be working with a mid-sized and established firm of chartered accountants based in County Durham, looking to bring in a talented accountant for their team.The RoleAs an accountant a typical day could include:

  • Preparing accounts for a range of business entities.
  • Advising and assisting clients migrate to the cloud.
  • Dealing with and engaging with clients to obtain information and providing support.
  • Supporting clients to promote their growth and success.
  • Working autonomously and managing your own workload, or as part of a team on a larger project to achieve the best outcome.
  • Discussing with colleagues ways to improve service to clients and ways to execute ambitious growth strategies for the firm.
The BenefitsAs an accountant, you are entitled to a range of benefits, as well as other aspects that make this role attractive:
  • A competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 depending on level of qualification and experience.

The Requirements and ProcessTo qualify for this role as an accountant, you should:
  • Be part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA - candidates qualified by experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Be confident working with technology.
  • Enjoy a fast paced environment.
  • Have strong excel knowledge.
  • Be a confident communicator.
