Job Description

We believe HMG is the best place to work and develop your career.About the role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Yard/Warehouse Operative to support the manufacturing process within production departments through the distribution of raw materials via requisitions and supporting all areas of the yard operations including managing daily stock counts, rotation of raw materials and the off-loading of deliveries when required.Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:15am to 4.00pm. Fridays 7:15am to 3.00pm.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Off load vehicles thathave delivered goods
  • To keep the yard and store areas tidy
  • To rotate stock in the yard
  • Deliver products as requested to other departments
  • Deliver finished goods to Main Store
  • Off load tankers when required
  • Ensure the departments are stocked adequately, with materials visible and stored in the right locations and always kept clean and tidy
  • Enter Goods Received documents onto the computer system
  • Collect used products for recycling i.e., dirty solvents & waste
  • Manage daily stock counts, working closely with department manager
  • Picking and replenishment of powder-based products
  • Delivery of picked goods to internal departments
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role.
  • Able to work unsupervised and be a responsible team member.
  • An up-to-date FLT license.
  • Good numeric and literacy skills
  • I.T. skills, ABI, Microsoft word, excel.
  • Able to work in a methodical orderly and tidy manner.
  • Good attendance and punctuality record
  • Be able to follow Health & Safety Regulations
  • Experience in Maintaining stock levels and stock control rotation including ordering products
