Job IntroductionThis is the one youve been waiting for!We are now recruitment for our TBM tunnelling team have an openingfor a Welding Supervisor.Role ResponsibilityKey Responsibilities

• Responsible for the TBM and Plant welding works carried out in the Welding workshop, TBMs and site plants.
• Leads and controls skilled labour and welding crews engaged in all welding activities on the site
• Materials, consumables, and equipment managing
• Record welder activities
• Comply with high safety standards
• Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes, and statutory requirements as they affect the companys operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implementedon the project.

The Ideal CandidateRequired qualifications, skills, behaviors, and attributes

• Relevant Certification in Welding process and operation
• Experience in multiple welding processes
• Extensive familiarity in welding and cutting process and works with at least 10 years experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• High level English
• Relevant CSCS cards

About the CompanyThe role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UKs new high speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UKs 10 biggest cities with fast, reliableand frequent high speed services.The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 Main Civils Contracts which include both Lots S1 (Euston Tunnels & Approaches) and S2 (Northolt Tunnels). The combined value of the contracts is around £1.8billion with the works due for completionin 2025.
