Staff Nurse - Oncology / Haematology Location:The Christie Private Care - ManchesterFull time hours, 37.5 hours per weekPermanent ContractSalary:£30,000-£34,950 dependent on skills & experience + benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)You could either be an established Oncology Nurse or a Surgical / Medical Nurse looking to move into CancerCare,then this could be the opportunity for you!About Us: HCA Healthcare UKThe Worlds largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care.HCA Healthcare UK has developed a dedicated private centre in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester.The Christie Private Care treats private patients with a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day care and outpatient treatment all on one site.The Oncology/Haematology Unit enables nurses to deliver high standards of holistic care to patients with cancer, each member of the team has specific expertise in treating and supporting patients through their cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond. We tailorcare to the need ofeach individual, providing full treatment plans from diagnostic assessments to surgery, chemotherapy andanti cancerdrug therapies, radiotherapy and supportive care.The Role: As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for working in a supporting experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that patients are cared for in a safe, caring and comfortable environment. Thiswill include meeting their medical, physical and emotional needs by effectively communicating with the patient and their families.We are looking for a surgical staff nurse to work within our oncology inpatients ward.We understand that cancer care is a challengingfield and our friendly team work closely together to adopt a supportive culture. We will work with you to ensure that you have the knowledge and skill to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment that values your wellbeingSkills & Experience:

  • NMC Registered nurse
  • NHS or Private Hospital experience
  • Surgical, Medical or Oncology experienceis a must
