Job Description

Medical Advisor12 Month FTCManchester~£42,000If youre a GPhC registered Pharmacist or GMC registered Doctor and you have some experience in Medical Affairs or you are looking to move into the Pharmaceutical industry, wed love to hear from you. Our client is a well respected company with a fantasticreputation as an employer and are looking for a Medical Advisor to join their Medical Affairs department.Youd be working for a very well established, global business recognised as a leader in their field. This is not a vast faceless top five pharma, rather theyre a niche, incredibly ethical company with genuine differentiators that underline their commitmentto patients, holistic ethical conduct and focus on full lifecycle product development.This role would be supporting the Medical Affairs team to deliver strategic medical plans and deliver operational excellence across the UK and Ireland.Activities of the role include:

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of product line and therapy areas
  • Providing medical information responses to Healthcare Professionals enquiries
  • Attending meetings and congresses both nationally and internationally
  • Supporting Medical Director, Medical Manager and Medical Science Liaisons to deliver strategic plans
  • Regular literature searching, summarising and circulation to necessary teams
  • Helping to develop scientific and clinical presentations
  • Ensuring activities and meetings are conducted in compliance with all laws, regulations and statutory requirements
Requirements of the role include:
  • GPhC registered Pharmacist or GMC registered Doctor
  • Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance Laws and Regulations
  • Knowledge of ABPI code of practice
  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to travel
