Job IntroductionThe Engineering Manager Asset Protection role is responsible for the management and delivery of design assessments of the tunnelling impacts on third party assets, identifying mitigation solutions and following the relevant 3rd party and HS2 assurance process.The 3rd party assets stakeholders are principally NR and TfL relating impacted bridges, retaining walls. stations and other track assets. There are many buildings impacted including some listed buildings and heritage assets both of which follow their ownassurance processes.The role is diverse in terms of managing external consultants that are undertaking the assessments and mitigation designs, as well as the liaison with the asset owners and coordination with the SCS permanent works Design Managers, Technical Assurance Engineers,and the I&M delivery teams.The position works closely with and reports to the senior Engineering Manager (GMA/Asset Protection) and provides support to the Senior I&M Manager responsible for the Instrumentation and Monitoring, and part of a team of engineering managers in Area Central.Role ResponsibilityKey responsibilitiesThis role will principally cover the following areas:Engineering Management GMA
