Job Description

Job IntroductionWe are recruiting for a Conveyor Supervisor for our Tunnelling team over at West Ruislip. Conveyor Supervisor will be reporting to the PlantConveyor Engineer and Mechanical Superintendent.Flexible working: We welcome you to ask about the flexibility you need.   • Oversee the assembly, installation, operation, and maintenance of the TBM spoil management conveyor system.
  • Cooperate with the supplier to ensure that the conveyor system is maintained in a good condition and operating efficiently.
  • Support the Plant Mechanical Engineer in developing all documentation and procedures for the start-up, assembly, installation, operation, disassembly, and maintenance of the conveyor system.
  • Prepare an appropriate maintenance schedule in accordance with the suppliers requirements.
  • Prepare and update production and daily maintenance reports.
  • Spare parts management.
  • Organising and managing the production and maintenance team.
  • Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes, and statutory requirements as they affect the companys operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implementedon the project.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent knowledge in the assembly and commissioning of conveyor systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar works
  • Experience and knowledge in mechanical facilities (air, water, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of the assembly, operation, and maintenance of conveyor systems.
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal English.
  • Knowledge and management of underground and outland conveyor systems.
  • Ability to manage and organize people.
  • Relevant CSCS or NVQ standard
