Job Description

Sewing Machine Operative - Immediate start day shiftWe are looking for creative, innovative, and resourceful Sewing Machine Operatives to come and join us on our exciting journey. Candidates will be creating our range of developed on-demand products as well as applying hem tags and branding onto other decorated items. Ideal candidates would be working with our New Product Development teams to help new products to add into our on-demand product offering.Location: Warrington / ManchesterPlease note this role will initially be based at our Warrington site (WA5 3TP), with relocation to our Manchester site (M90 1QX) after approximately 3-4 months. You will need to have transport to get to both sites.Skills / Requirements of a Sewing Machine Operative:

  • Great eye for detail
  • Team player
  • Willing to work 12 hour shifts
  • Transport to get to both our Warrington site (WA5) and our Manchester site (M90)
  • If you have previous experience in cut & sew and or photoshop/illustrator this would be advantageous

  • Pay rate for the first 4 weeks: £9.04 per hour / day shift
  • Duration: Ongoing with opportunity for permanent contract after 12 weeks.
  • Pay rate increase to £9.80 if the permanent contact with the client is offered.
    • You should be willing to work on a fixed front end / back end day shift as follows (same days each week):Front End = Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Alternate Wednesdays 6AM - 6PMORBack End = Alternate Wednesdays, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6AM - 6PMMain Activities/Tasks of a Sewing Machine Operative
  • To be an attentive member of an ever-growing cut and sew production team
  • Responsible for operating the machines during production
  • Work closely with the team to maximise production
  • Ensure excellent product quality is maintained at all times
  • Work safely and follow set safety procedures
    • Candidates should have experience and confidence operating a sewing machine / overlocking machine proficiently.Benefits of working with us as a Sewing Machine Operative:
