ICT/Business Studies - WarringtonJanuary 2024Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified Teacher of ICT/Business Studies to join a good secondary school in Warrington. The school has consistently been proud of many years of students excellent performance on all of its courses. In 2022 the school onceagain celebrated impressive results, sustaining the Schools reputation for high academic attainment.You will be teaching KS3 ICT and KS4 BTEC Business StudiesThis position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachersYou will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standardlessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80
Provide a minimum of two professional references
