Job Description

Join us, we’re an Investors in People Gold Standard Company.We are seeking to appoint an experienced, skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative with an eye-for-detail to work for one of our prestigious clients sites in Warrington site, ensuring the highest standard of a wide range of Grounds Maintenance services are delivered to expectation throughout the year. This will include but is not limited to: grass cutting, hedge cutting, shrub pruning, lawn renovations, riparian maintenance, plantingKey Requirements:

  • Experience of operating ride-on and pedestrian machinery (NPTC Competency certification desirable)
  • Understanding of best horticultural practice
  • Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks
  • Full, clean UK Driving licence
  • Comprehensive Health & Safety awareness
  • Experience in a similar job role
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • PA1 & PA6 qualifications are desirable
  • Reliable and consistent work and you will always strive for perfection,
    • This role is paying £9 an hour, Monday - Friday for a 40 hour week. During the Winter months of October to March you will work between the hours of 7am to 3.30pm. In addition during this time you will be part of a call out rota and may be required to start work at 3am until 11.30am if Winter Maintenance Services are required on site. Overtime and call out allowances are available to cover the Winter Services.During the Summer months of April to September your hours will be to 6.30am to 3pm.What we offer;At Ground Control we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work.
