Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Great Barr,starting immediately.About the School:The school specializes in supporting students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism. The school believes in promoting independenceand empowering students to develop key life skills.Role and Responsibilities:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:1. Providing 1-1 support and personal care to students who require additional assistance.2. Assisting in the implementation of a creative and engaging curriculum to foster key life skills in learners.3. Supporting small groups of students, ensuring their individual needs are met.4. Effectively tracking and communicating the progress of students to their families on a regular basis.Requirements:To be successful in this role, youll need:1. Experience working in a SEND or personal care setting, preferably within a school environment.2. A genuine passion for supporting children with special needs and a patient and empathetic approach.3. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.4.
