Job Description

Job Title: Therapeutic intervention teacher - SEMH SchoolLocation: Grantham, NG31Daily Pay: £100-£120 per day Hours of Work: 8:30am - 4pm Start Date: November 2023LTF Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Play Therapist to join our dedicated team. As a Play Therapist, you will work in school with children facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, utilising play therapy techniques to facilitatecommunication, emotional expression, and healing.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to understand the emotional and psychological needs of children.
  • Develop and implement individualised play therapy treatment plans.
  • Utilise various play therapy techniques to help children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, parents, and caregivers to provide comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential child records.
  • Stay current on developments in the field of play therapy and attend relevant training and workshops.
Qualifications:
  • Degree/ Masters degree in Play Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with children in an SEMH setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant ethical and legal guidelines.
