We are looking for an engineer to oversee the day-to-day running and management of a small team of intruder alarm &CCTV engineers.The candidate should show strong leadership with ability to communicate with both staff and clients at all levels in a professional and organised manner.The senior engineer will be invaluable member to the team and will be responsible for the everyday activities within the engineering division of the business, making sure customer satisfaction, targets and full management of engineers are covered.The role will require a degree of installation work, callouts and overseeing other installation projects.Duties: Installation and repairs to intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms and access control Supporting other engineers in a technical capacity Commissioning and final handover of systems Site surveys for quotation process Ensuring current H & S requirements are being adhered to. Develop knowledge of the industry standards, (SSAIB, BAFE ETC) Promotion of the company to gain further business Liaising daily with the director to endure smooth running of the engineering department Keep communication lines open at all times with existing clients ensuring expectation are being met Experience and Skills Required An experienced security senior engineer who has a full understanding of a security industry Extensive knowledge of IP CCTV, intruder Alarm system(all types), Addressable and conventional fire alarms and networked access control systems. Experience in leading teams of people with the ability to achieve the best from them. Relevant electrical qualifications (or similar) for the job role.
