PRU in Grantham, Lincolnshire that caters to behavioural difficulties (SEMH) is currently recruiting for a permanent Graduate OR experienced SEN TA in either Maths/ Science or English. This role is to start ASAPThis is an exciting time to join a new, creative, Innovative, SEN focused and supportive PRU that caters to SEMH pupils with challenging behaviour. Outstanding Headteacher who is a true visionary with a great Senior leadership supporting the Head. Staff at this SEMH School are exemplary with a range of experience, a passion for SEN and dedication to a great school! The students who attend are between the ages of 7 - 18 years old. All new staff who are taken on by this school must be able to demonstrate that they have great experience working with children with challenging behaviour / SEMH / ADHD/ ASD in either an Alternative Provision / similar SEN School / Pupil Referral Unit or a mainstream school that has challenging behaviour.This role would either suit a Grad who has a Maths Science or English Degree (BEd/ BSc/ MEd/ MSc etc) OR an experienced SEN TA (any of the core subjects). The successful Behaviour TA/ SEN TA / LSA / HLTA has great SEN experience with children and young people on either a 1:1 basis and or within small groups. You will be dedicated to safeguarding children, able to de-escalate behavioural difficulties, empathetic and able to build a very strong rapport with children.
