You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we canhelp. We support a variety of adults, including those who are within the criminal justice system, with substance use issues across the Lincolnshire area.In order to consider your application for this role, you must be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK.This Recovery Worker role is about:

  • understanding your clients
  • keeping them safe
  • creating a plan that they can achieve with your support
  • checking in with them and reviewing their progress
  • keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them
  • working effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery
  • continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients
  • supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care
We welcome applications for this Recovery Worker role from candidates with experience in the following areas: Caseworker, Flexible Working, Support Worker, Care Planning, Healthcare, Substance Misuse, Social Care, Communication Skills, IT, NVQ Level 3, ONC. Essential Skills To be successful in this Recovery Worker role, you will:
  • have attained ONC/NVQ Level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
  • have some experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
  • be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
  • have good oral and written communication skills
  • be comfortable using IT and digital media
  • be organised and able to manage your time effectively
  • able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
  • be happy to support other With You locations when needed
  • full UK driving licence
You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. Desirable Skills Well give your application priority if you:
  • have previous experience of working with people who misuse substances
  • knowledge of health and safety, including assessing clients in high-risk situations
