**Well-Qualified SEN or Mainstream NQT or Experienced Teacher (MPS or UPS) ** SEN Humanities Teacher (Specialising in History and Geography & taught other Humanities Subjects)**SEN experience with Behavioural Difficulties (ieCAMHS/ SEMH/ ADHD/ ASD/ etc)**Looking for a permanent Humanities post in an Alternative ProvisionIF you answer yes to the above, this could be the perfect role for you!New Alternative Provision located in Grantham, Lincolnshire, who would like to appoint a permanent SEN Humanities Teacher / Teacher of Humanities (MPS or UPS) to join their successful Department. This full-time post is to start ASAP!This provision caters to SEN pupils with SEMH & Behavioural Difficulties between the ages of 7 - 18 years old. Class sizes are small at this provision, so you would be teaching pupils within small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The successful Humanities Teacher will be across Key Stages 3 & 4. You must have taught one of the Humanities Subjects (History/ Geography/ RS/ PSHE) and open to teaching the others. The successful SEN Teacher of Humanities / Humanities Teacher / Teacher of History / History Teacher/ Teacher of Geography / Geography Teacher / RE Teacher / Teacher of RE (MPS or UPS) MUST have a teaching qualification (iePGCE/ Cert Ed/ SCITT/ GTP /Teach First/ QTSetc).To be successful in this position you have taught Humanities to SEN pupils (SEMH/ ASD/ CAMHS/ ADHD/ Challenging behaviour etc). Additionally you have worked in either an SEN School / Pupil Referral Unit / Alternative Provision or Mainstream School. You have excellent knowledge of your subject(s), able to build a strong rapport with young people and able to de-escalate behaviour well. Excellent opportunity to put your stamp in a new Alternative Provision!
