Exciting opportunity has a risen at a brand new SEN school in Grantham, Lincolnshire! They are recruiting for a permanent HLTA to commence work immediately or in January 2021.This is a state-of-the-art & inspiring SEN School that essentially caters to children and young people who have been diagnosed with SEMH and Complex Needs. The age ranges of these pupils are 7 years up to 18 years old. The pupils who attend are referred to this SEN School and are all on EHCPs. It is imperative that all new staff have great experience, knowledge and understanding of young people who are on EHCPs. Staff are accommodating, passionate about SEN, dedicated and want to make a difference to the pupils.This is a great opportunity, to start at a new SEN School where e you can essentially put your *stamp* in the school and the various departments. Especially as this school is in its infancy, you will essentially see the school grow over the years! The successful HLTA/ experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor has great experience working with children with behavioural difficulties (ieCAMHS/ SEMH / ADHD/ ASDetc). Additionally, your experience working with children will be in either a PRU, Alternative provision/ SEN School / Mainstream School with behavioural difficulties.
