New SEN school located in Grantham, is recruiting for a permanent HLTA (Food Technology/ Catering / Home Economics). This is to commence immediately or January 2021.State-of-the-art SEN School that caters to young people and children between the ages of 8 - 18 years old who have been diagnosed with SEMH and Complex Needs. The learners who attend are referred to this SEN School and are on EHCPs. All staff have great SEN experience within either an Alternative Provision / PRU / SEN School or mainstream and are able to give the best to the pupils who attend. All new staff also need to have fantastic experience, understanding & knowledge of SEN students who are on EHCPs.Exciting new opportunity, to start at a new School where you can put your "stamp" within the school and department. To be successful in this (Food technology/ Catering / Home Economics) HLTA post, it is imperative that you have worked within a Home Economics department at an SEN school / PRU / Alternative Provision/ Mainstream School and have taught the subject(s),. This would also suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor has great experience working with children with behavioural difficulties (ieCAMHS/ SEMH / ADHD/ ASDetc) and who has worked in a Home Economics/ Food tech department..
