The Department of OMFS/Head & Neck Cancer services provides exciting pioneering OMFS / Head & Neck procedures and care as part of regional services for the West of Scotland. We are looking for a staff nurse to join our team.We have one, 21 bedded ward which provide Emergency and elective MaxFax and Head & Neck cancer surgery as part of the Neuroscience & OMFS Service to the West of Scotland.All staff will be supported by our dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator for Neurosciences & OMFS, and undergo an in-house training competency framework and university accredited courses to support your development.You must be a registered nurse. Experience in the field of OMFS / Head & Neck Surgery nursing is preferred, but not essential.You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).You will work 12-hour shifts to cover the 24/7 service.Informal ContactLorna Stewart, Senior Charge Nurse on Details on how to contact the Recruitment Service can be found within the Candidate Information Pack
