Business Administrator; 12 month contract; 37 hours a week; based in Govan; £11.00 per hour (plus hols) A Business Administrator is required to provide Operations administrative and technical support to appropriate parties within a particular function for BAE Systems. The jobholder will also support the effective operation of Surface Fleet Solutions, operationssystems and processes. Duties will involve; - Interface and provide support between business and Suppliers, CDM coordinator, Principle Contractors and Consultants where appropriate - Liaise with: Services, Tech Liaison DESG, Security, Occupational Health, Time Office, Back Shift supervisors, Contractors & External Consultants - Understand the quality standards and work tolerances - Understand SHE risk awareness, and regularly make time for SHE - Contribute to the effective and timely completion of all ad hoc administrative tasks - Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports from relevant systems to meet needs of Operations team - Financial and budgetary control of Facilities Amex card The job holder must demonstrate a well-developed ability to deliver quality Powerpoint presentations and slide content and be able to procure supplies and materials from preferred suppliers. You will be able to monitor, manage and communicate and report weeklyprogress to appropriate parties and provide safety reports ensuring reminders for outstanding actions to relevant parties. Ensure the achievement of functional work plans. Ensure the production of accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for all areausing Excel, People Portal and Buy Site. Provide recommendations to improve policies and procedures. You will have excellent team working and two way communication skills. Yu will have drive and commitment and be able to work on own initiative. Excellent time management skills are needed to be able to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload when necessary.
