If you do not have a current PIN number you will not be shortlisted, please do not apply for this Registered Nurse VacancyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our General Surgery team in Queen Elizabeth University.You will be working as a Band 5 staff nurse providing essential nursing care to our patients with general surgical conditions in our 28 bedded colorectal ward which also offers an enhanced recovery after surgery capability.You will utilise a broad range of knowledge and skills in the assessment, planning and implementation of care for this patient group. Including pre and post-operative care and early rehabilitation. A fundamental part of the role is to aid enhanced recovery after surgery and communicate with the Multidisciplinary team in improving the patient journey.You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse and should be able to work on your own merit supported by the wider nursing team.You should hold current registration with the NMC and be educated to degree level or equivalent.
